Michele Spanghero "High Rise" – residenza artistica con OMP Engineering e Università Ca' Foscari
Breve documentario che racconta il progetto di residenza "artificare" che ha visto coinvolto l'artista Michele Spanghero con l'azienda OMP Engineering attraverso la mediazione dell'Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia.
Il risultato è stata l'installazione sonora "High Rise" a Fabbrica Alta a Schio, un'opera site specific che ha dato voce alla caratteristica architettura industriale dell'ex lanificio Lanerossi nel centro di Schio consentendo al pubblico e ai cittadini di riscoprire questo luogo iconico ma da lungo tempo dimenticato.

how big would it have to be made in order to sound 2 octaves lower?
a bigger one would probably resonate infrasonic frequencies
@@mimesys it'd have to be several orders of magnitude bigger to do that. a 20 cycle tone has a wavelength of about 56 feet, a quarter-wave [must be that size or larger to resonate] of that would be 14 feet, so i guess i answered my own question then unintentionally. ;) i'd love to see and hear one that large and deep.
